Feabhas consultancy and new training courses support organisations looking to adopt Agile methodologies for embedded developers

Feabhas, the UK’s leading independent provider of embedded software development training and an ARM Approved Training Centre, announces it is launching consultancy services and training in Agile for Embedded.

The announcement was made at Feabhas’ Agile for Embedded conference on 3 May.

In addition to offering Agile for Embedded consultancy, Feabhas is also launching four new onsite training courses to provide a pragmatic introduction to Agile practices, such as Scrum, and techniques, such as TDD, within the context of Embedded Systems, as well as practical hands-on exercises.

Niall Cooling, MD at Feabhas says “Since the publication of the Agile Manifesto back in 2001, Agile practices have become mainstream in software development with processes such as Scrum and techniques such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) becoming common practice. However, almost all current books and training on Agile ignore the challenges of applying it in an embedded environment.

Our recent conference was the first of its kind in the UK - and a sell-out - which demonstrates the interest in using Agile for embedded systems development. Senior engineers and managers responsible for the development of embedded systems want pragmatic and practical approaches to using Agile in the embedded development environment – and this is what we are offering them.”
